Toxoplasma - Demos 81/82 LP

Both Toxoplasma demo-tapes from 1981 and 1982 on one LP! Classical early German punkrock / Deutschpunk at its best. Both tapes were released before the band recorded their legendary self-titled debut-lp. 1994/95 the label Get Happy! released two limited singles (called Demo 81 and Demo 82) with only some of the demo-songs, who sold out fast and are collectors' items nowadays. Now the complete demos together on one LP, 7 songs of the '81-tape and the 6 songs from the 82s-tape, remastered 2011 by original-singer Wally Walldorf in the band's own studio. Toxoplasma is one of the most authentic and best German punk bands, which is active with two interruptions for almost 30 years. Both demos were recorded in the rehearsal room in Neuwied and draw the path to the first LP. Some of the demosongs were later recorded again for the band`s first lp, here you`ll find the originals of all-time-hits such as “Teenagefrust”, “Pass Dich an”, “SOS” or “Danke”. Rough and uncompromising Deutschpunk with political lyrics and a lot of anger, who was influential for a whole genre and is still unmatched today. This is the original, everything that came afterwards, must be measured against Toxoplasma. A wonderful document of early German punk rock from a band that until now consistently goes its way.
