Portland’s NUX VOMICA return with their second full-length album on Aborted Society, “Asleep in the Ashes.” Constantly defying easy classification, NUX VOMICA has persistently challenged and redefined the constructs of DIY punk since their inception in 2003, and this release is certainly testament to that. Destierro - s/t EPAnother cool band out of Basque country! They deliver 4 down-tuned, haunting and gloomy tracks of modern crustpunk... Depressive but massive and a huge production sound-wise. It´s not really new and outstanding but their efforts to bring diversity into the music with plenty of downparts that break out in a massive wall of guttural rage... Then it´s more than enough to please my taste of that genre and the artwork is very, very beautiful, dark and full of magical spirit and twisted ancient visuals... Good Stuff. For friends of Ekkaia, Ictus, Madame Germen... from 4,00 EUR (19 % VAT incl. excl. Shipping costs) |
